OCCUPY WALL STREET
and the
DISPUTE RESOLUTION COMMUNITY

Monthly NYC-DR Roundtable Breakfast

The Occupy Wall Street movement began on less than an acre of land in downtown New York and has spread around the world, helping to shift the political discourse in our country. Situated across the street from Ground Zero, people at OWS are living and working together to sustain and further the message of financial and democratic change in the country. On the ground in "Liberty City," which arguably has the highest population density of any other city in the world, conflict resolvers have been offering their services to the community and developing ADR practices specific to the population and environment of OWS.

Join four such conflict resolvers who have been working with Non-Violent Communication and Mediation models to promote peace and understanding.

Tashy Endres - Activist, architect, translator and trainer in Non-Violent Communication from Berlin.

Bathabile K.S. Mthombeni, JD - Mediator & Conflict Management specialist, founder Untangled Resolutions, host "The Problem is the Answer".

Angela Martinez - Mediator with New York Peace Institute.

Suzanne Sutton - Mediator and Non-Violent Communication trainer.
