Professional Bio
Richard is a former partner concentrating on international legal transactions with the New York offices of Morgan Lewis & Bockius (1994-2004) and Schiff Hardin (2004-2007). Currently he works primarily as a commercial mediator in New York City and has published articles concerning independent directors of public companies, shareholder disputes in privately held companies and business divorce.
He chaired the ACRGNY 2008 Conference Committee and is the Chair of the 2010 Conference. He is on the mediator rosters of the AAA for Greater New York, the U.S federal courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Commercial Division of the NY Supreme Court, NY County and for the New Jersey courts.
Richard is a graduate of the College of William & Mary (A.B.),Cornell University (J.D.), and the University of Chicago (M.C.L).
