Practice Group: Commercial & Employment Mediators

Mediators work hard to encourage understanding and bridge boundaries. Yet many work alone, with few opportunities to share their questions, frustrations and ideas with colleagues.

ACR-GNY promotes learning and dialogue within the ADR community. To provide more support, ACR-GNY started a new event series last year: Practice Groups! These meetings are for Commercial and Employment mediators; confidential spaces where they can come together to share puzzling moments and give each other honest feedback. 

Commercial, Employment and all mediators are invited to our first meeting in 2020, facilitated by Susan Salazar and hosted by the law firm of Raff and Becker, LLP.  Ms. Salazar is an experienced employment attorney and mediator. She is on the SDNY Mediation Panel, an adjunct professor at CUNY Law School, and mentored new mediators in New York City Small Claims Court. Susan is on the board of ACR-GNY.
