Practice Group: Commercial and Employment Mediation

ACR-GNY promotes learning and dialogue within the ADR community. This Commercial & Employment Practice Group has been meeting regularly since 2019 from 6pm to 7:15pm on Zoom. The Practice Group is a confidential space where mediators can come together to share puzzling moments and give each other honest feedback.

September Guest Facilitator is Iyana Titus 

Iyana Titus currently serves as an Assistant Commissioner for Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) for NYC Parks & Recreation, where she is responsible for creating and implementing the agency’s diversity and inclusion policies and practices, conducting EEO investigations and ensuring that the agency is in compliance with all federal, state, and local anti-discrimination laws. As an Assistant Commissioner she has also been instrumental in creating and implementing an ADR program for her agency and facilitating and mediating employment related disputes. Prior to this position, Ms. Titus served as the Borough of Manhattan Community College’s (BMCC) Chief Diversity Officer and as an Employee/Labor Relations manager for a small air carrier.
