ACR-GNY promotes learning and dialogue within the ADR community. This Commercial & Employment Practice Group has been meeting regularly since 2019 from 6:00 - 7:15pm on Zoom. The Practice Group is a confidential space where mediators can come together to share puzzling or challenging moments and give one another honest feedback.

Salman Ravala is a partner at Criscione Ravala, LLP, practicing in the areas of domestic and international business law, commercial litigation and securities arbitration, and labor and employment law. A diverse neutral, with significant commercial law, board of directors, and in-house experiences, he frequently serves as a court-appointed, as well as party-selected special master, mediator, and arbitrator on several ADR rosters nationally, including for FINRA, NYS Part 137 Fee Dispute Panel, NYS Commercial Division, CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Appellate Division, First & Second Judicial Departments, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Mr. Ravala is an American Arbitration Association Judge Higginbotham Fellow, a graduate of Syracuse Law School, and teaches at New York Law School and Columbia University in the City of New York.
