Professional Information

Job title
Mediator and Conflict Coach
Professional Bio
As a mediator, I have trained at the New York Peace Institute, The American Arbitration Association, The Center for Mediation and Training, and at the Scheinman Institute on Conflict Resolution.

Before that, I spent 35 years as a producer, writer, director, executive editor, development executive and executive producer in the television industry.

I have expertise in the genres of news, documentaries and reality television. As a newsman, I was a long form producer for both CBS News and ABC News and was the creator and Executive Producer of CBS News Saturday Morning / The Saturday Early Show. My documentaries include the award winning film, "9/11" (CBS News "48 Hours") and "Dust to Dust" (Sundance Channel). As head of development for CBS EYE Productions, I created formats for and executive produced dozens of reality programs for the cable industry. Examples include Next Food Network Star (Food Network), Stunt Junkies (Discovery), Future Car (Discovery), Beyond the Headlines (Lifetime), Band of Bloggers (THC), Injustice Files (Investigation Discovery) and many more.

I am currently establishing a practice to utilize my knowledge of the television industry to mediate in the entertainment field. I am also a pro-bono community mediator.
