Professional Bio
Kathy Goodman received her M.S. in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Columbia University where she focused on emotions as central to the formation and resolution of conflict, embracing the value of emotions as a window to underlying needs and issues. She has developed emotional intelligence workshops for various organizations and groups including alternative dispute professionals, the Vermont Bar Association, peace-builders, and health care professionals among others and frequently presents at conferences on the topic of emotional engagement. In addition to presenting workshops, she is a practicing mediator, with experience in community, civil and family and marital, conflict. Ms. Goodman is certified to administer and coach to the Neethling Brain Instrument (NBI) in addition to the EQ-i 2.0.
