Professional Bio
Felicia Farber is a Visiting Professor and Director of the Mediation Clinic at Rutgers Law School as well as an independent mediator, arbitrator, and workplace investigator based in New York and New Jersey. She has an electrical/computer engineering background and has worked for many years as a civil and commercial trial attorney in NYC. Her dispute resolution expertise is in employment, construction, complex business/commercial, environmental insurance, products liability, medical malpractice, disability, foreclosure, will contests, social media, school, harassment, defamation and cyberbullying matters. Felicia serves as a mediator and arbitrator for the AAA, FINRA, CPR Institute, and State and Federal Courts. She has conducted over 3000 mediations including many large claim and multi-party cases in the 7 and 8 figures.
She is a frequent speaker, trainer, coach & mentor in conflict resolution and negotiation, and is the recipient of the 2022 Lewis Pepperman Distinguished Service Award and 2019 James B. Bosky ADR Practitioner of the Year Award. She serves on the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Complementary Dispute Resolution and the Advisory Committee on Mediator Standards, the ADR Advisory Council for the US District Court Eastern District of New York, and holds leadership positions in multiple other professional organizations, including Vice President of the Justice Marie L. Garibaldi American Inn of Court and New Jersey Regional Chair of Women in Dispute Resolution of the ABA. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Labor & Employment Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and is IMI Certified.
