Professional Bio
Donna L. Buehler is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who is the Ombuds for the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Her expertise is in behavioral health, wellness and workplace issues over the past 30 years in the fields of employee assistance, chemical dependency and ombudsing. She has an M.S. in Social Work from Columbia University and a Minor in Business Administration from Columbia University Graduate School of Business and is a member of several professional associations. Donna is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). In 2016 she was awarded a certificate in mediation from the Quinnipiac University School of Law Center on Dispute Resolution for completion of a 40-Hour Mediation Skills Training.
