Professional Bio
Darcy Thompson has earned a master’s degree in special education and is a retired educational diagnostician. She has completed several advanced mediation trainings including family mediation, elder, and parenting coordination and facilitation. She is an experienced dispute resolution professional and trainer. She has mediated high conflict civil, community, school, and faith-based disputes. Darcy coordinates the ACR Houston "Our Peacebuilding Community" peer mediation training program and the Power Up educational program for Peace Peddlers, Inc. She's on the board of the Association for Conflict Resolution Houston and a member of the Texas Association of Mediators. She frequently assists with the 40-hour basic mediation training for new mediators.
