Professional Bio
Karen Carroll brings more than 30 years of experience in mediation, facilitation, and change management, with much of her career spent working alongside the court system - particularly in Family Court. Most recently, she served as a Program Manager with the Community Mediation Center in Western New York and was also a member of the original staff of the New York State Court Improvement Project.
Before returning to New York, Karen maintained a private law practice in Washington, D.C., where she handled a wide range of family law matters. She is admitted to practice in both the District of Columbia and Maryland.
Karen earned her J.D. from the Columbus School of Law at Catholic University of America and holds dual bachelor's degrees in psychology and interdisciplinary social sciences from the University at Buffalo. She is a NYS Court System Part 146 trainer, a Certified Reflective Mediation Practitioner, and lives on Grand Island, New York.
