Three seasoned mediators will offer their takes on how and when timing matters when mediating. If you've ever pondered: When the mediation should be scheduled, when the parties should present their view points, when the parties should caucus, when an offer or counter offer should be conveyed, when to settle and when to concede impasse, you won't want to miss this program. There are no hard and fast rules regarding timing but the presenters will share what they have learned through their own mediations and what has proven to be most successful. Attend this program and learn how paying attention to timing can improve the mediation process and lead to better results. Audience participation will be welcomed.
Co-Presenters:
Nancy Kramer, Mediator & Arbitrator, JAMS
Rebecca Price, Director of the ADR Program, U.S. District Court, Southern District of New York Oliver (Ollie) Rosengart, Mediator & Arbitrator
